Achieving Digital Equity in New Jersey: Updates and Opportunities for Libraries

Learn how New Jersey is leveraging existing services and resources along with a historic amount of funding for broadband to bridge the digital divide for underserved populations. Representatives from the New Jersey State Library, New Jersey Office of Broadband Connectivity, and National Telecommunications and Information Administration will provide updates on the work being done to ensure access to affordable, reliable broadband and achieve digital equity. Libraries, already trusted partners locally, are well positioned to support the state’s work promoting broadband adoption, sharing options that make home internet affordable, providing digital navigators, and teaching digital literacy.
