What can job seekers DO while applying for jobs and keeping up with their other responsibilities? There is a professional support gap between completing an MLIS program and becoming employed. Most local networking events, conferences, and webinars are geared toward employed librarians. However, with a competitive job market, fewer jobs and more applicants, alongside issues of relocation, it is not unusual for a job search to take a long time. Our program will focus primarily on the needs of new and emerging professionals who are in limbo between school and employment.
