Health and Safety Protocols

The New Jersey Library Association’s priority in all meetings and events decisions is the safety and welfare of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff. NJLA will implement and follow all current recommendations and requirements related to COVID-19 from the CDC, State of New Jersey, City of Atlantic City, and Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center for the 2024 NJLA Conference. NJLA is continuously monitoring news and science around COVID-19 and its variants and will update plans and protocols as needed. Please check this page for the most current information.

Recommendations

NJLA strongly encourages attendees to wear masks and face coverings, as appropriate, based on the current CDC recommendations for your individual health needs. Masks will be available for conference attendees at the registration desk and the Exhibit Hall.

Please stay home if you are sick with COVID symptoms or are not feeling well.

Venue Safety Measures

Convention meetings and food service will follow any current government guidance with respect to such venues.

Hand sanitizers or hand washing stations will be placed throughout the convention areas both in front and back of house hallways. Regular cleaning and sanitizing of public areas will be conducted, with attention being paid to high-touch points.
