Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely available educational materials that can save students money and allow faculty to have academic freedom and greater flexibility over their course content. This session will help you understand the basics of OER, the variety of options available to faculty, and how OER can improve students’ educational experiences. We will also share strategies for persuading faculty and administrators at your institution to explore, implement and fund OER initiatives.
